Meet Our Founder

Boutiq Medical Clinic was founded by Karen Buckalew, MN, APRN-C, MSCP, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Karen's journey in healthcare spans over three decades, beginning as a cardiac nurse in a progressive care unit before earning her Master's Degree in Nursing from Florida State University. With extensive experience in internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, and aesthetics, she has dedicated the last 13 years to mastering the art and science of aesthetic medicine as an advanced injector and aesthetic trainer.

Karen's passion for supporting women through menopause stems from witnessing her own mother's health decline due to unmanaged symptoms and untreated hormone imbalances. This personal experience inspired her to create a practice where women receive the comprehensive, compassionate care they deserve, addressing not just how they look, but how they feel.
